Meet The Crew
|
Mike "The Firefighter".
Beneath this rough exterior is one of the most gentle, caring men. And he is ever so kind to let me pick on him. It’s not easy being Mike, he never knows what will come out of my word processor and into print. Many of our conversations start with..."Now I don't want to read about this along with the general public." He is my right and left arms, without him there would be no food in the house and not a stitch of clean clothes. I yelled up from the laundry room, “Mike how do I wash my black cotton sweater?” “What does it say on the tag Loretta?” "Umm.....Gap medium“.

Miss Ali "Boomer" Tkacs (tax).
Her beautiful red hair is hidden under the hat. It is absolutely true what the say about "red heads". Ali was named after my “Mother Alice” who is also a red head. She and her twin sister Maddie look nothing alike, and are nothing alike. Ali is such a character and has a great sense of humor. My favorite time with her is each night when I put her to bed and she says "I wuv you momma". She has a face you just want to pinch. She truly adheres to the statement "God made them cute for a reason"

|
Miss Lanna Mosca.
Lanna is my elegant child. Always dressed for the occasion, some mornings on her way to school I have to remind her she has gym that day and probably should forgo the velvet cape and sequin shoes. What style she has, she is very creative and is the best speller in the house, she is our spell check when the computer is down. |

|
Miss "Mumu" Monica Mosca.
Monica is one of the sweetest, most caring kids I have ever come across. She gets that from her Dad. Monica's big achievement this year was she cheered the entire football season with a broken leg and never missed a game or practice. She was given the unsung hero award at the end of the season which brought tears to all our eyes. She is the oldest and is shaving, oops I meant paving the way for the others, which makes her loved and hated at the same time by her sisters. |
 |
|
And Last but not least is Miss Maddie Tkacs.
Driving alone with Maddie one day in the car, I said her; "Maddie do you know what I love about you the most?" Her reply was; "I'm not quite as annoying as Ali?" I laughed so hard I almost drove off the road. Maddie is has been labeled as the “smart one” by the others. Actually she remembers everything, this is a good and bad trait. But it can be very helpful, “Maddie where did I file my 2001 tax returns?”. She will know. But then again she never lets me forget ANYTHING. “But Mom you said!” |

My "Muses"
My sister Julie who shares in my wit and sense of humor, along with my sister Jen and my “Mother Alice”, who is the apple tree in which we all fell from. Julie gets the draft of each story, the key is to put enough wine in her to make her spice it up but not too much that she can’t type. She has added so much flare to many of my stories. Jen is my biggest fan who is always there to pat me on the back. It’s nice to have someone who thinks I am wonderful, and I don’t even have to pay her. And my Mother whom I inherited all my good qualities from, she knows who the bad ones came from, hypothetically speaking of course. |
