Editors: If you have an interest in using my material please contact me at lobessette@aol.com. Let me toot my own horn: - what some other really great writers and readers think.... LOVED the article, “Excuse Me Do You Have a Match”. Absolutely true, absolutely relatable. We would be happy to publish it at Sanity Central. From one writer to another, your style is strong, your humor laced with just the right amount of sarcasm and soul. A pleasure to read...I really like your style, your voice. Linda Sharp Stayed up WAY passed my bedtime (it's now 10:15) reading all your articles. They are brilliant, touching, creative and an all around Blast. Swami Susan I LOL reading your article "I Am Limited Too". I had to print it and pass it around the office so everyone would know why I was laughing. I can so relate. I have two goodie bags sitting in my house from the last birthday party, how long do I wait before I throw them out? Lynn Mosca - my ex-manicurist I found your site while desperately looking on the web for information about how to survive being a "step". After reading your articles I felt better. You remind me of Erma Bombeck. :-) She always made me laugh with the absurdities of every day life and you did too. Wow, Loretta, you have the gift. I really enjoyed this last article. Your writing is a bit like going to the Unitarian Church on Sundays- I get an ethics, morals and common sense lesson instead of preachy religion. Thanks Jane Grover Boy, what insight into the everyday and nitty gritty! Thanks for putting "being gay" into perpective for us all. I love your truly down-to earth outlook and hope you will continue to write (so that my 7 and 10 year olds will be able read your articles when they are older). I am hooked on the smiles you provide with them. Kavita in Acton, MA P.S.- Your writing is wonderful. Every stepmother could always
use a good laugh, and that is exactly what you give, at the same
time acknowledging the issues we face every day. I enjoyed all
of them.
Tracey Woods Hey Loretta,
Just read your current article, May he Rest In Peace, and like Mike I had mixed emotions. First was, how callous! By the end of the article with tears streaming down from laughing so hard (so much so I called Mick and left a message saying call me about Loretta's article ), it was then I realized that you speak what others think but would never have the nerve to speak aloud. I applaud you for your humor and the ability to say what no-one else would have the guts to. In the final analysis.....I loved it....Keep up the great work!!!
